Why We Built TrustCheck BD
I've been working as a software developer since 2020. While building various projects, I always wanted to create something that solves a massive, real-world headache for regular people.
In May 2026, I wanted to buy ChatGPT Pro to test out some advanced AI tools. Since I didn't have an international card, I started looking for local alternatives online.
I came across a Facebook page named 'Nexora Boost' promising quick ChatGPT Pro access for a cheap price. I went ahead and paid them 900 BDT upfront. They told me I'd get access in 5 minutes. Instead, they blocked me instantly.
The money lost wasn't huge, but it hit me hard. It made me think: if someone with a strong tech background like me can get scammed so easily, what happens to millions of ordinary people every single day?
Where can a regular person actually go to double-check a phone number, Facebook page, website, Telegram account, or business before hitting that send money button?
That frustrating question gave birth to TrustCheck BD. The goal is simple: help people spot a trap before they lose their hard-earned money.
